Since 2022, we have been serving in Christian development work and leadership training through Hungry For Life and Fullwell Leadership, based in Chilliwack, Canada.
Hungry For Life supports leaders and communities in 15 countries through projects that contribute to restoration of dignity, resilient communities, and a faith that becomes visible in daily life.
Our work is made possible by personal supporters who contribute to our salary through Hungry For Life, enabling us to do this work full‑time.

Hungry For Life & Fullwell Leadership
Abby and Ruben both work for Hungry For Life. Abby works as a Leadership Coach at Fullwell Leadership with Christian organizations in Canada. She helps these organizations grow and have a greater impact on the vision they promote.
Ruben works on behalf of Hungry For Life as Manager of International Partnerships. From the office in Canada, he works with a team to support international partners in the implementation and development of projects in their communities.

How does Fullwell fit into the vision of Hungry For Life?
Hungry For Life has a big vision. Every day, we work to see communities thrive and people brought into wholeness and relationship with Christ. We support many different kinds of community projects to help make this happen. But we also know there are areas in the world where we will never have projects simply because the global need is so great. As HFL, we realized that the best way to see the world changed is not simply by growing bigger and bigger ourselves. Instead, we can create a ripple effect in many areas of need by helping other organizations that are doing great work become healthier and grow stronger.
Another way HFL and Fullwell are connected is through our funding model. When Canadian organizations hire Fullwell, many of the funds they pay us go toward leadership training for HFL’s international partners. At HFL, we believe that communities are not transformed when outside groups come in with funding and ideas alone. Communities are transformed when local people are empowered and supported to make a difference in their own contexts. That’s why we want to provide opportunities for the local leaders we work with to experience character growth, deepened faith, and leadership development that equips them to help transform their communities.
